A consultancy built by people
who got tired of the handover
SKYLINK IT SOLUTION PTY. LTD. was founded on a simple frustration: strategy firms that leave before the build, and delivery shops that build without the strategy. We do both, with the same team, and we stay until it runs.
From four engineers to an Australian cloud & AI practice
SKYLINK IT SOLUTION PTY. LTD. was registered in New South Wales on 26 May 2022, started by a small group of engineers who had spent years inside large migration programs — and had watched too many of them deliver a slide deck instead of a platform.
The premise was that the same team should own the business case, the architecture, the build and the first year of operations. That accountability changes the decisions you make in month two, because you are the one who lives with them in month twenty.
In the years since, that group has become a cross-disciplinary practice of cloud architects, platform engineers, data specialists, machine learning engineers and delivery leads, working with organisations across financial services, healthcare, retail, government and resources.
We remain deliberately mid-sized. Every engagement has a partner-level consultant close enough to it to answer for the outcome.
Where we work
Based in Sydney, delivering Australia-wide. Interstate clients are served by hybrid squads with scheduled on-site cycles rather than a token local office.

Five principles we will not trade away
Measure it or drop it
If we cannot name the number an initiative should move, and agree how it will be measured, we would rather not start it.
Everything as code
Clicked-together infrastructure is a liability with a countdown on it. If it is not in version control, it is not finished.
Say the uncomfortable thing early
Bad news does not improve with age. If a date is at risk or an approach is wrong, you hear it from us in the same week we work it out.
Leave the team stronger
Enablement is scoped into every engagement. Our success measure is your engineers not needing to call us.
Security is not a phase
Controls are designed in at the foundation stage, not retrofitted the month before an audit.
Our bar for taking work
We turn down engagements where the outcome is not achievable, the scope is a foregone conclusion, or nobody on the client side owns the result. It costs us revenue and saves everyone a bad year.
Four practices, one delivery office
We do not publish individual profiles. The people assigned to your engagement are named in your proposal — with their certifications and comparable experience — and you meet them before you sign.
Cloud Practice
Landing zones, migration architecture and FinOps, plus the control-to-code standards behind our regulated work.
AI & Data Practice
Generative AI, machine learning and data platforms, plus our evaluation methodology and responsible AI framework.
Security Practice
Posture assessment, detection engineering and evidence automation, with a standing veto on designs that reduce your control baseline.
Managed Services
SLOs, incident response, transition onboarding and the quarterly improvement backlog.
We hire for curiosity and follow-through
Certifications matter, but we care more about whether you can explain a trade-off to a CFO and then go and implement it. Study leave, exam fees and conference budget are standard, not negotiated.
- Hybrid by default — two days a week in office, four-day fortnight cycles on delivery
- Funded AWS certification pathway with paid study time
- Internal architecture review forum every fortnight
- Rotation between cloud, data and AI engagements
- Profit share tied to client outcomes, not utilisation
